‘Aladdin’ (1992)

Thanks to beautiful animation, timeless sounds, and a masterful vocal performance from Robin Williams, Aladdin was a massive hit for Disney in 1992. However, when the company remade the film in a live-action 2019, they had changed several notable aspects of it. Why? Well, the original animated film was chock-full of ethnic stereotypes regarding the Middle East, as well as a problematic portrayal of Princess Jasmine as a woman who needed to be rescued. All of this was toned down for the aforementioned live action remake.
