‘Die Hard’ (1988)

Die Hard has never been more culturally relevant than it is today, with everything from toys and memes to a seemingly never-ending annual debate as to whether it’s a Christmas movie keeping the film in the zeitgeist. This is pretty ironic considering that the film would likely never be made today, at least in its current form. The film is not only incredibly violent, but it also somewhat makes light of the concept of a terrorist attack, which likely would be much harder to pull off in the world’s current climate.
